Does Download Play work on the Nintendo Switch? Download Play allows you to do local multiplayer with only one game between the group. Unfortunately as of May 2017 the Nintendo Switch does not support Download Play so if you want to do local multiplayer then you can do Wireless Play which works really well but each Switch that you connect up will need a copy of the game that you are playing so it is different than download play.
